Celeste Percy-Beauregard began creating at a young age, and early successes include forcing her grade 3 class to sit through her two-hour, two-woman adaptation of The Sound of Music.
She went on to earn her BFA in Acting from University of Windsor, and a post-graduate certificate in Comic Scriptwriting for Television from Humber College (one-on-one program with David Flaherty).
A recipient of grants from the Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council, and Canada Council for the Arts, Celeste is a writer of unconventional female-driven dramedies, and her first play Well Born was short-listed for the Toronto Fringe New Play Contest and premiered at Artscape Youngplace in Toronto.
Life experience includes playing a Vulcan for 8 months in a Star Trek Live show at Kennedy Space Centre, and a day-job stint as a Matchmaker before the advent of Tinder. She is also co-founder of the annual sold-out Feminist Debaters fundraising event.
